Robert Besely, the designer of Clarendon, owned a large collection of watercolor paintings depicting London architecture. Inspired by his collection, this type specimen contrasts the bold slab serif of Clarendond with the fluidity and organic forms of watercolor paints to show Clarendon in a new light.
